Absolutely!
Just put it in your mouth.
We cannot, sorry.
Sorry, we do not.
Yup--they have Chicago dogs, regular hot dogs, and obviously Chili Dogs with or without cheese.
Simple, good chili. They don't try to do anything fancy and I really appreciate that. Prices are fair, but expect to pay extra for any toppings you want (and you'll get plenty of what you do want).
One the the must stops when in Milwaukee or good lunch spot. Friendly staff.
A nice little spot, a hole in the wall type of place and perfect in its own way. They have other offerings but its main dish is chili. You can get it with or with out beans, with or without noodles. They have add ins like onions, cheese, jalapenos, etc. The portions are good. I've always gotten a second helping. :) Its unique flavor brings us back.
Not a fancy place but ya come for the chili not the decor! A quick lesson: this is a dryer type of chili. It's all meat until you ask for the add ins: spaghetti, beans, then toppings: onions, grated cheddar, sour cream, oyster crackers! And it is abso, you know what, lutely ABCD-LICOUS regardless of how you have it from plain to fancied up!Haven't been? Like chili? Get. In. Here!
Great chili, great friendly service.
A true staple, and must visit destination if ever visiting Milwaukee. Yes, I know it is crazy to think $6-$12 for a bowl of chili.... but wow. It is a treat that I leisure myself to once in a while. I never regret going and I always look forward to coming back. The lunch time and crowd can be a bit hectic and busy. Best reserved a trip later at night when things have calmed down a bit. Either way, you are getting the best dang bowl o' chili you might ever have.
Thrilled about the vegetarian option, my meat eating companions couldn't tell the difference and I was as satisfied as I've always been!
Decent chili, tastes good, but waaay overpriced. A little 12oz bowl to go cost me $9.28.
Food quality- 4/5Food quantity- 3/5Ambience- 4/5Service-5 /5Overall-4 /5Good place to have hot dogs and beers. The place is old but still has good quality of food. A good place for small portions of food.
The people working are always nice and like to talk. As for the chili..well let me just say it is like god entered a chili contest and this was his entry. It tastes great and isn't terribly expensive. However, if you are not a chili person then i wouldn't come to a place that is called Real Chili. Their menu involves mostly chili products. Which is completely understandable since the name is Real Chili. To conclude it is good chili and better people.
So much better than i remember, and i remember it being very good. Went out of our way to come here. Totally worth it.
Was kinda skeptical at first but the chili is real good.
Very consistent. Quick. Friendly. Good
Chili was pricey and didn't taste good. I got the the smallest bowl, hot variety. Maybe I'm just used to spicy food, but I didn't taste any hint of heat. The chili itself was very dry, felt like just ground beef and beans. Now one can argue that's what chili technically is, but it was just so bland and dry. The only moisture was the puddle of oil that sank to the bottom which took me 30 seconds of straight pouring to get out. This wasn't sauce, fore the taste and color were literally that of regular grease. Gave two stars because the worker was nice and gave us a bumper sticker at the end.
Food was good, the hot chili was the best. Service was okay 🤷🏼♀️
Excellent fast and friendly service. They have been around for a long time
Awesome chili, for starters. Get it with beans and noodles, or however you like it. But my buddy ordered hot dogs, Chicago dogs, and cookies the other night, and they were all great! Then I was told the tacos are amazing! I didn't even know these things were on the menu. Just get there and order chili (or whatever you like) - you won't be disappointed.
A chili joint that's been around since the 30's and I don't think they've changed the recipe. That's a good thing. It's not anything that will knock your socks off, but will definitely leave you satisfied. Only wish you got more of it. Solid menu though, and is great after the bars.
Real Chili really is everything that is good about this world. I've tasted a lot of food. I've had skyline chili, homemade family chili, and even green chili but by golly I have never had anything that fills me with as much satisfaction as a 1 and a half hot with noodles and cheese take out order for lunch.
Best chili ever. Multiple ways to have your chili
Amazing place and great awesome server Avery Gaitens!!! He does great job in the kitchen preparing the food, a hard dedicated employee, and the best server ever!! Great sweet guy with great customer service. I highly recommend this place and ask for Avery, and tell them I recommend him.😊👍🙌👏❤
Great chili and chicago dogs! Would always recommend for a nice throwback
No nonsense good chili. Fast service nice location.
It was real tasty I've never had noodles with my chili before and it was nice
What is there not to love about this place. Great atmosphere great food and great service
As far as restaurant names go, "Real" Chili is a quite the boast - and one that is in no way lived up to. There's nothing particularly offensive about the chili here, but chili enthusiasts will instantly note the lack of complexity via spices or, well, ingredients. Heat is nonexistent, and even core ingredients like chili powder seem to be missing. It's very odd. The chili tastes (and looks) more like the meat in a sloppy joe. The amount of salt used is also... enthusiastic.Good in a pinch, but otherwise I'd pass.
Wow o wow. Best beef you’ll ever eat. A must eat.
One of my favorite places to eat chili. You have to be specific in ordering. Stress what you want more or less of. Always good.
Quintessential American chili joint. Try it with everything on it. 5 way chili is so tasty. They even have vegetarian chili options.
Stopped in while I was in downtown. I had the chili cheese dog, some chips, and a coke. About $8 for the whole deal, which is very reasonable compared to other offerings around. Food was tasty and the chili on the dog was very good. The chili here does not have a lot of "sauce" for the lack of a better word, so that was a little strange, but I chalked it up to being an original family recipe. The taste of the chili was fabulous.
The chili is pretty damn good, tastes even better late night after a few drinks.
The best chili in town.
Good, simple food. No nonsense meal and reasonable prices. Open late for those long evening. Better than sliders!
Great place to sit down and eat. Excellent bowl of chili! Chili dog is tasty too!
Can't beat the chili. It's phenomenal. I always order enough to put in my eggs the next morning. 😁
Love this place. A WI classic.
Love the chili here. Really good deal. Fun to eat at the counter. The girl that ran the place was cool and fun to talk to. Will be going again.
Great bowl of chili early or late! A must stop when in downtown Milwaukee and in need of sustenance!
Really nice small chili place. Cozy atmosphere and delicious chili! Would highly recommend if you're a fan of chili!
Both I and my boyfriend got diarrhea and the sweats spent the weekend In the bathroom and bed due to eating this. Good luck
